Frequently Asked Questions
There are some important requirements that are recommended in order to ensure the most successful performance of the Cookie🍪 Jensen Show
What kind of room set-up do you recommend for the Cookie 🍪 Jensen Show?
It’s best to have the stage set up against one wall, and to have all of your guests seated in front, facing the stage, with no dance floor in between. Guests that are seated to the side of the stage, behind the stage or far away from the stage, will have TERRIBLE seats and will not be able to fully enjoy the show.
It’s best to have your guests comfortably seated facing the stage, and not on the sides or behind the stage. Be aware of any large, view-blocking beams or columns.

Suggestion: sometimes you can request “pipe and drape” for the stage, which can serve as a backdrop for your event and for the performance.
What do we need to provide for the Cookie 🍪 Jensen Show?
A. If Cookie ? Jensen is the only performer with equipment on the stage, other than a podium, then we recommend a stage at least 10′ x 8′ and at least 6 inches or higher off the floor, if possible.
Depending on how high the stage is, stairs might also be required for safety, as there is fun audience participation during the performance.
In cases where Cookie ? Jensen’s equipment would be sharing the stage with other performers, a larger stage or other special considerations may be necessary.
B. In most cases, Cookie ? Jensen will provide her own sound system, unless it’s a performance that requires air travel.
In this case, we will need a professional microphone and sound system that is setup and monitored throughout the performance.
The best type of microphone is a headset mic that is wireless and hands-free. A clip-on or lavaliere can also be used. We also need an input for an iPod for sound effects.
C. Once again, most of the time Cookie ? Jensen provides her own professional sound system for her own use.
Please keep in mind that you may have AV needs yourself and you may want to ask your venue to provide a microphone for your use to give speeches or presentations.
D. In regards to lighting, we have no specific needs, but we do recommend bright stage lighting. Having your event too dark makes it difficult for your guests to experience the amazing vocal illusions, when they are struggling to see.
E. A chair and a small table on the stage would be appreciated.
What size party or event does Cookie 🍪 Jensen entertain?
Cookie? Jensen entertains intimate groups at small family parties, all the way up to large audiences in huge ballrooms and theaters.
If you have a very large group, the use of projection screens makes the show even more enjoyable for your guests, because then everyone will have a clear view. Talk to your venue or contact a local audio/video company to explore that option.
When during our event should we schedule the Cookie 🍪 Jensen Show?
We recommend that the entertainment be scheduled before dinner, or after dinner before any other speeches, but NOT during meals.
During the entertainment, your guests may be asked to volunteer and to participate in the show. This can feel intrusive when people are being served or eating their meal. It is awkward for your guests to try to watch the show when they’re enjoying dinner and conversing at their table.
Will the Cookie 🍪 Jensen show be safe and socially- distanced?
Yes, Safe Social-Distancing will absolutely be maintained throughout the show.
This will be in effect even when volunteers come up on the stage to assist during the performance.
The performer will wear a mask during the set-up and take-down of the equipment, but not during the show, of course.
Hand sanitizer will be available and utilized.
Is the Cookie 🍪 Jensen Show family-friendly?
Yes, Cookie ? Jensen presents shows for children, shows for adults, and shows for mixed groups of children and adults.
All shows feature hilarious clean comedy that is G-rated, and suitable for all audiences of all ages. You can rest assured that your guests should not be embarrassed or offended in any way.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, typically a 50% initial investment and a signed agreement is required to reserve a date. The event is not fully booked with Cookie?Jensen until both of these items have been received.
